The casting needle

The Casting Needle offers handmade, knitted blankets with an eye towards new mothers as a target audience. For their logo design, we tapped into a simple, organic aesthetic, conveying the texture of the product. Playing on the heart-like shape of the classic knit stitch, the logo conveys the same sense of warmth and care that customers feel swaddling their little one in a soft blanket.

I developed their logo for use on Etsy, social platforms, and packaging, as well as a custom Etsy shop banner.
