Hi there, I’m Madeleine.
I’m a Chicago-based designer. I love that design allows me to bring my right and left brain together: research, planning, and strategy harmonizing with intuition, creativity, and imagination. Through my background in costume design, I bring a concept-first approach to design, a hunger for collaboration, and a knack for visual composition. I graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Costume Design and a minor in History of Art and Architecture with a concentration in Museum Studies from The Theatre School at DePaul University.
I currently spend my workdays as a UX and Visual Designer at Fuzzy Math and my evenings as a graduate student in pursuit of a MS in Human Computer Interaction at DePaul University.
In my free time, you can find me tending to my plants, trying out a new recipe, or continuing on my quest for the best donut* in Chicago.
*The reigning champ is the ginger sweet potato at Downstate Donuts, in case you were wondering.
